Officer James Page is No Longer Employed by Prairie Grove, IL
On August 21, 2013, the court quite correctly denied Prairie Grove's Motion to Dismiss the lawsuit that I filed against Prairie Grove (2013LA15 in McHenry County, IL) for violating the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA). In the coming months we will learn much more about Prairie Grove's initial attempts to not provide the video and audio from the traffic stop in which Officer James G. Page wrongfully ticketed me.
During that August 21, 2013 hearing, we learned that James G. Page is no longer employed by Prairie Grove. This information came directly from the attorney for Prairie Grove, who stated on the record during court that James G. Page was no longer employed by the Village of Prairie Grove.
We are now in the process of determining why it is that James G. Page is no longer employed by Prairie Grove, and the effect that this will have on my cases as well as the cases of the individuals that my firm is representing on a pro bono basis.
